- Sweden committed to improving sanitation for 60 million people in the next 15 years.
- The European Union announced they would increase funding for the Syrian refugee crisis by 500 million EUR.
- Prime Minister Erna Solberg of Norway committed to doubling her country's support for the Global Partnership for Education over the next 3 years to help make sure every child gets the opportunity to go to school.
All told, the announcements will affect the lives of approximately 98 million people.
