World Water Day

From water.org: Children of all ages in Kanija Village celebrated World Water Day this year by honoring the focus of the day through their artwork. Using pencils and crayons these kids depicted how safe water plays an important role in their lives in Kanija.

In a country where more than 103 million people lack access to safe water, we pause to celebrate the lives that have already been transformed through safe water here in Kanija. Now the children here have the time and health to attend school, and look to bright futures.

Kelly and I are supporting water.org in our running in the LIMA 42K Marathon this May. You can support our efforts and lean more at http://give.water.org/fundraiser/4948/#
